Scotland: Lotto millionaire faces jail over cannabis factory Billy Paterson Glasgow Sunday Mail Sunday 12 Jul 2009 Susan Kennedy, 41, and five workmates shared £6.6million on the lottery eight years ago. She ended up flipping burgers after paying a quarter of her winnings in a divorce settlement to her cheating husband. Now she has admitted she let boyfriend James Kyle grow pot at her Stranraer home. One pal said: "Her problem is that the men in her life have just trodden all over her." Kennedy and Kyle, 46, originally faced eight charges after police raided the house. Kyle admitted producing and being in possession of cannabis. The Crown accepted not guilty pleas to other charges. Kennedy worked at Pinney's fish factory at Cairnryan, near Stranraer, before her Lotto win. Her love-rat husband, Kevin, 30, was awarded a £250,000 chunk of her cash despite the fact he used a computer his wife bought him to find internet romance. Sentence has been deferred for reports. Kyle and Kennedy will appear again at Stranraer Sheriff Court this month http://www.sundaymail.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2009/07/12/lotto-millionaire-faces-jail-over-cannabis-factory-78057-21514091/
