India: Cannabis cultivation destroyed in JK

Srinagar, Aug 18 (PTI) Continuing its drive, Jammu and Kashmir excise and taxation department assisted by police today destroyed cannabis cultivation spread over 25 hectares of land in Shopian district.

A joint team of Excise and Taxation department and Police destroyed the bhung cultivation spread over 25 hectares of land at village Melhura in south Kashmir Shopian district, 52 kms from here, an official spokesman said.
