Finland: Finnish customs confiscates 22 kg of marijuana

Finnish Customs said in a statement Tuesday that it had uncovered an extensive drug trafficking ring suspected of smuggling around 40 kilograms of cannabis from the Netherlands to Finland.

According to Customs during the preliminary investigation it had confiscated 22 kilograms of the drug, estimated to be worth over 400,000 euros on the street.

The main suspect is a 33-year-old Nigerian man. In total ten people are suspected of involvement in the trafficking operation.
