Indian police told the Dominion Post Allan Bruce Mills and Peta Sim Clair were carrying 96 grams of cannabis in the Bhuntar region, and area known for cannabis cultivation. India has strict drug laws, with penalties of up to 10 years jail for people caught with even a few grams of marijuana.
