A WOMAN with a history of anti-social behaviour who pleaded guilty to allowing her home to be used for drug dealing has been evicted by Halton Housing Trust (HHT).

Gail Holman, 33, of Brookdale, Widnes, was arrested by police and charged in December 2009 with allowing her premises to be used for supplying cannabis.

She was sentenced by Runcorn magistrates to a 12-month community order and had to complete 100 hours of unpaid work

In August she was issued with an anti-social behaviour injunction at St Helens County Court to control her two Staffordshire bull terriers.

Holman was also issued with a protection from harassment notice following incidents involving a neighbour.

Now, the HHT tenant has been issued with a possession order by Liverpool County court.

Alf Bean, Halton Housing Trust's anti-social behaviour officer, said: "We want this case to show that we will not tolerate criminal and anti-social behaviour in our homes.

"Her behaviour was causing nuisance and distress to her neighbours and the wider community and we have taken the firmest possible stance on this.”

"This was a serious case of anti-social behaviour which, combined with the customer's history, led to us seeking her eviction.

"We are delighted with the result, which highlights that we are not prepared to tolerate behaviour that will have a negative effect on our customers and neighbourhoods."

HHT officer Daz Morland said: "We will always look to take action against anyone who is keeping drugs in our homes."
