US: Cannabis improved quality of cancer patient’s final days

My ability to legally obtain cannabis from the Medical Cannabis Club of Guelph for my father greatly improved his quality of life and enabled him to pass in peace as he fought and then finally succumbed to cancer earlier this year. Cannabis provided relief from pain that progressed beyond the reach of traditional medical and pharmaceutical solutions.

Through my associations with Rade Kovacevic, I have come to know him as a professional business person who is motivated by helping people. In my opinion, he conducts his business with honesty; allowing his members to, with self-respect, choose care beyond what the pharmaceutical community can offer.

It is my hope that the people who have spoken out in support of the Medical Cannabis Club of Guelph are heard such that a greater understanding and appreciation for the benefits of medicinal cannabis are brought to light.

For the people who have relied on the product and compassion offered by the club, I pray that the club is returned to full operation as quickly as possible.

Until then, I wish its members comfort and safety if they seek to find cannabis elsewhere.

I have always been proud of Guelph's spirit and look forward to celebrating my pride in our intelligent and progressive community once the charges are resolved in favour of the club.
