UK: Boy, 13, on cannabis factory charge in Northampton

A 13-year-old boy has been charged over the discovery of a cannabis factory in Northampton.

Officers carried out searches of 15 properties on Tuesday and found 350 cannabis plants in a house in Pilton Close.

The searches were made as part of Operation Guardian.

The boy has been charged with the cultivation of cannabis. A 24-year-old woman has also been charged with drugs offences, police said.
