Switzerland: Hunger striker being moved to Bern - Bernard Rappaz

The hemp grower who's been on a hunger strike for 102 days is being moved to a hospital in Bern.

The Valais cantonal Department of Public Safety says it's moving the imprisoned Bernard Rappaz from a hospital in Geneva in order to save his life.

Rappaz had said that he didn't want anyone to intervene if he fell into a coma, which is close to happening.

The Geneva hospital said it would strictly follow his wishes, but the head of Valais public safety says Rappaz has always expressed the wish to live.
