UK: Burnley cannabis dealer told prison is an option

A MAN said to have turned to cannabis dealing because his partner was pregnant has been warned he faces jail.

Ryan Stanworth, 22, of Eldwick Street, Burnley, admitted four counts of supplying the drug, being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possessing the drug, between last October and December.

The court was told Stanworth was caught out in an undercover police operation, when officers bought drugs from him. He was bailed until June 28and given a curfew.

Judge Beverley Lunt told him: "All sentencing options, including imprisonment, will be considered."
