Indonesian student, 17, faces drug charges (0.47 grams)

A 17-year-old Indonesian student was charged in court on Monday with having cannabis at a flat in Mount Elizabeth last month.

Karina Iskandarsjah is alleged to have had a packet containing 0.47g of a cannabis mixture together with her boyfriend Mathieu Maxime Gautron, a 17-year-old French national, there on Sept 7.

Gautron and four others were charged in court last Thursday.

They were among 15 young people, mostly expatriate students, nabbed in an 18-hour drug operation last month.
