Down to the Wire - the Failure of Cannabis Prohibition

CANNABIS CULTURE - Stop the Violence BC, a group of experts from British Columbia calling for an end to marijuana prohibition, will host "Down to the Wire - the Failure of Cannabis Prohibition", the first in a series of events designed to bring attention to destructive cannabis laws.

On November 10th, join Stop the Violence BC for a panel discussion with a former narcotics agent from Baltimore, an international human rights lawyer, and a leading public health researcher.

Panelists will speak about the costs of cannabis prohibition to public health, safety and, perhaps most importantly, youth in Canada and around the world.

This panel is the first in a series of events hosted by Stop the Violence BC, a coalition of academics, scientists, and past and present law enforcers who, in response to continued gang violence in BC, are endorsing cannabis regulation as a means to improve public health and safety in BC.
