UK: Jail for man who set up cannabis farm in basement
ThisisCheshire Tuesday 01 Nov 2011 Jonathan Bruce, of Pendle Gardens, was found in possession of 58 plants worth up to £46,000. They were seized after police raided the defendant's previous address in Newton-le-Willows. Sophisticated heating, lighting and ventilation systems had been installed and there were also bags of fertiliser. The court heard how the 25-year-old had been growing the class B drug in a basement for his own use, but following the success of it he began selling to friends. Bruce, who has a long term addiction to weed, pleaded guilty to producing cannabis. He was jailed for 18 months. His girlfriend broke down in tears as he was sent down and was helped from court by her mother. http://www.thisischeshire.co.uk/news/9336919.Jail_for_man_who_set_up_cannabis_farm_in_basement/
