Legalize It Malta to hold Cannabis reform demonstration

Legalize It Malta is organising a 'peaceful demonstration in favour of reform of the cannabis laws in Malta.'

The facebook event and the group, called ‘Legalize It Malta’ went viral within the social network as hundreds are expected to be attending the demonstration which will be held in Valletta.

While encouraging all those who want to contribute to attend the protest, Lagalize It Malta still considers the drug as illegal in Malta, and therefore the organisers strongly suggested that the attendants abide by the law.

Earlier this month, the Government had proposed to relax drug possession laws for first time users. The proposal was received very positively by many.
