Scotland: Cannabis grower gets final prison warning

A CONVICTED cannabis farmer who claimed a God-given right to grow illicit crops was given a final chance yesterday to avoid a lengthy prison sentence.

William Casey has been caught twice cultivating illegal plants at his harbour-side home at Peterhead.

Police uncovered thousands of pounds' worth of the class B drug at the 60-year-old’s first-floor flat.
