UK: Police seize cannabis worth £9,000 in Shetland

Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £9,000 have been seized by police from a house in Shetland.

Northern Constabulary said a 31-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.

The arrests followed a search by police of a house in the Brae area of Shetland on Friday.

Northern Constabulary said a report on the incident would be sent to the procurator fiscal.
