Canada: Marijuana marchers take to the streets
CBC News Saturday 05 May 2012 It's called the Global Marijuana March, and it created some major traffic disruptions for drivers in the downtown core. Parts of University, Bloor, Yonge and even Church street were all closed for part of the afternoon. Organizers of the event say the march is a celebration of what they call cannabis culture. Even though possessing marijuana is a criminal offence, police say no one at the event was arrested or charged. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/story/2012/05/05/marijuana-march.html
