UK: Padiham cannabis grower 'could go to jail'

A 26-YEAR-OLD man is awaiting sentence, after admitting producing cannabis between last September and December, at Burnley Crown Court.

Ashley Gregson, of Bright Street, Padiham, had been growing 52 plants of the drug, the hearing was told.

He was bailed until August 6, for a pre-sentence report.

Judge Simon Newell told him: "All sentencing options are open to the court."
