UK: Men released after Sprowston drug raid

Two men arrested after Sprowston police uncovered a cannabis factory have been released on bail until September.

The men, aged 19 and 27, were questioned at Aylsham police investigation centre after officers carried out a warrant at an address in Blenheim Crescent on Thursday, July 19. More than 30 cannabis plants were found growing under a "sophisticated" hydroponics system. The plants were more than 4ft high and police also seized several boxes of cannabis flower heads which had been harvested.

Inspector David Cuff said: "This seizure was a great success and has prevented a substantial amount of illegal controlled drugs hitting the streets of Norwich."
