"(The investigation is) an identification program for enhanced indoor cultivation of cannabis," Ashfield LAC crime manager Detective Inspector Eric Coffen said. Ashfield police executed a search warrant at the home on August 8, where they seized 181 cannabis plants and seedlings. The plants had a potential value of $563,000, he said.
