Lynn News

Saturday 13 Oct 2012

Two men have appeared before magistrates this week charged with possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Jeremy Garner, 25, of Wootton Road, Gaywood, is accused of possessing 1.49 kilos of the class B drug – with an estimated street value of around £8,400 – with intent to supply on September 30 this year.

He also faces a charge of possessing 3.83 grams of cannabis on the same date.

Meanwhile, Michael Harney, 26, of Raynham Close, Gaywood, faces an allegation of possessing 208 grams of cannabis with intent to supply on the same date.

He is also accused of having 56 Methandienone steroid pills, a controlled class C drug, in his possession.

Both men appeared before magistrates in Lynn on Tuesday morning. No pleas were entered.

The magistrates declined jurisdiction in both cases. The matters were adjourned until December 4 when both men are due to be committed to Norwich Crown Court.

They were released on unconditional bail until then.
