UK: Cannabis crackdown in Bishop's Stortford

A BISHOP’S Stortford man has been charged with possessing drugs.

Cannabis genericHisham Mansour, 21, of Pynchbek, was allegedly found with a quantity of cannabis when he was searched by police in Windhill shortly after midnight on Sunday (October 28).

He has been bailed to appear before East Herts Magistrates' Court in Hertford on November 12.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old woman from Little Hadham was given a formal warning by police after she was caught with a small bag of cannabis in Pig Lane, Bishop’s Stortford, last Friday (Oct 26) shortly after 8pm.

And a 16-year-old boy was cautioned after he was found with a small bag of the Class B narcotic in Wentworth Drive, Bishop’s Stortford, the following evening at about 6.40pm.
