UK: Double arrest over cannabis factories in Norwich

Two men have been arrested after police uncovered cannabis factories in Norwich last week.

Officers from Sprowston raided a unit at Hellesdon Park Industrial Estate in Allston Road on Wednesday night and discovered a cannabis factory hidden behind a false wall.

About 60 plants with an estimated street value of £30,000 were seized from the unit.

A 38-year-old man was later arrested at an address in the city.

Enquiries led officers to search an industrial unit at the Bowthorpe Employment Area the following day where around 20 cannabis plants were seized.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and both men have been released on conditional bail until April.
