New Zealand: Day of protest promotes cannabis reform

An international day of protest was marked in the Octagon over the weekend, promoting the reform of cannabis prohibition.

The Dunedin J-Day was organised by the Otago branch of NORML, and protesters were openly smoking marijuana in the area.

Dunedin police say they received one complaint about the protest, but did not make any arrests.
