Thitima, a mother of two children, was detained by an enforcement team from the Customs Department when she was on board a bus heading to Kuala Lumpur from Changlun near here. Mohd Zaki in his judgment said the court found that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused beyond reasonable doubt. "The court agrees with the prosecution that the accused had possession of the dadah which was found inside the luggage she was carrying,” he said, adding that the court rejected the defence statement. "Her defence that she was given the bag by a man only known as Adi to transport it to Kuala Lumpur failed to cast a doubt against the case presented by the prosecution," Mohd Zaki said. The Customs Department deputy public prosecutor Naziah Mokhtar prosecuted while counsel Ali Munawar Razak represented the accused. http://www.nst.com.my/latest/thai-woman-sentenced-to-death-for-trafficking-in-cannabis-1.311628
