UK: Sir Roger Gale MP slams cannabis seed sales

THANET North MP Sir Roger Gale has slammed shops that sell cannabis seeds and says he wants the practice banned.

The veteran Conservative backbencher spoke out after it was revealed that Kentish firms were marketing and selling seeds across the county lawfully.

Sir Roger told ITV today: "The law does not seem to know what it's doing.

"I am assuming that people are buying seeds for cultivation, they're not feeding the pigeons, are they?

"If people are buying cannabis seeds, they are buying them to grow cannabis and that process is illegal."
