SunLive

Thursday 11 Jul 2013

Keen legalise cannabis advocators took to the streets outside Tauranga courthouse today in an effort to promote their message to the legal system.

The group gathered outside the District Court on McLean Street around 10am holding signs pushing for the Government to legalise cannabis.

The peaceful protest coincided with the appearance of one of the protestors – Phylip Terangi - who is appearing in court today charged with possession of cannabis, and possession to supply cannabis.

Legalise cannabis advocator, Blaze, says he is protesting today to support friends that are being penalised due to unfair cannabis laws.
