Australian Media Continues to Dig Own Grave Over Schapelle Corby Cover-Up

Mathaba

Monday 16 Sep 2013

After damning exposure by Mathaba and the Australia News Real about the Australian media censorship of the innocence of Schapelle Corby and the refusal to air the extensively researched, compelling and damning evidence presented in the Expendable.tv documentary, the response by a paid hack (presstitute) was swift:

Madonna King, ABC radio presenter, writing for the Rupert Murdoch News Ltd's Courier Mail, told the public "Don't be fooled by Schapelle Corby's misguided fan club". Incredibly, under a childish cartoon depiction of Schapelle behind bars, that was the actual headline.

Then she opened with "Schapelle Corby is no returning hero. She is a convicted drug smuggler, who tried to import 4.2kg of cannabis into Bali."

No room for doubt at all. She doesn’t stop with the mandatory parrot fed "convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby", but tells the world that Schapelle tried to import cannabis. This is stated as a statement of fact. Perhaps desperately stated as fact.

Desperate because King knows that there is a cache of government cables on the internet which proves the exact opposite. Desperate because she knows there is an everyday risk that the public may discover it, and learn what the Australian government, and her employer, the ABC, really did. Desperate because she knows that personally, her own appalling history of abuse may return to haunt her.

Yes, King has a track record. For example, the day after Schapelle Corby was diagnosed as mentally ill, and at serious risk of death, she was hard at work. On August 29th 2009, she wrote words very similar to the above, screaming to the public that Schapelle was guilty, and seeking to dissipate public sympathy by referring to other Australians imprisoned abroad. Not even the merest hint of human compassion or care for the woman in pieces, in a squalid filthy pit, who would indeed go on to attempt suicide.

This time her main target is what she describes as a “fan club”, whom she directly abuses. Many of the words have a familiar ring to them, the ring of a friend of King’s who spent years seeking to exert passive influence on supporters, always urging the use of “proper channels”. These were the channels of silence, which gave the media a clear field to sedate the public with never ending smears and fabrication.

She also refers to the “fan club” as “Corby cultists”, quoting her friend as evidence “They've done nothing to help Schapelle“.

But King is well aware of the truth. For seven long years there was no real opposition to the torture of Schapelle Corby. There was no support movement in terms of exposing the truth. There was no threat to those who had suppressed the proof of her innocence, lied to the public, and orchestrated the media.

Those seven years passed, until in September 2011, The Expendable Project announced its existence with the release of a report. It was a report which changed everything. It was a report which began the process of publishing cables and correspondence obtained from within the Australian government itself. The truth began to emerge.

At a stroke, the “proper channels”, those created to control, and to bury the truth, were history.

This presented a huge problem for the establishment. The era of censorship had begun.

The Expendable.TV website was housed outside Australian jurisdiction. It was secure, with mirror sites, with researchers located in a number of different territories. It could not be quickly or easily closed down. The publications continued.

The approach adopted by the media was not to refer to it at all. To blank the information being published, and to blank the project as a whole. Instead, the intensity of smears against Schapelle Corby and her family intensified. Almost unprecedented national coverage was given to a book of absolute fabrications, so ludicrous that even the police had referred to them as “laughable”. Articles proliferated damning and vilifying her family on an alarming scale.

The other media initiative was to castigate anyone who did not buy into this propaganda. Supporters were regularly abused, and ridiculed, in entertainment shows, and across newspaper articles.

This is the role King is playing.

The Expendable Project is nothing more than well presented factual material, sourced from within the government and the AFP. It is clear, undeniable, and cast iron. It is absolutely damning of the Australian establishment, exposing conclusively their self-interest corruption in selling the life of an innocent woman. It is data and information, which cannot be challenged.

An honest media would jump at the chance to air such a well researched and well presented documentary. Heard of SBS Insight or other Australian TV documentary programs? They won't even respond to questions lest they acknowledge the existence of the Expendable.TV research. The Australian media cannot refer to it directly, for risk of exposing it to the wider public, and instead, more generic attacks are launched.

Abusive words like “cultists” and “fan club” are used, to undermine the entire subset of the population who have learned the truth. Another favourite is “conspiracy theory”, a label used to generically smear what is simply published data: data which speaks for itself.

This is desperation. It is the ugliest representatives of the media shrieking venom, fearing the day on which the courageous Schapelle Corby is able to speak.

It is dread that the people of Australia may actually sit down and read the correspondence of their own government ministers, of those who control society. It is terror that the eyes of the public may be opened.

Here is the sword of truth, the database of material which exposes them:

www.expendable.tv

It doesn’t abuse or scream or name-call. It presents the establishment’s own dirty washing. By their own hand, they demonstrate their own criminality and corruption, and indeed, what the Madonna King’s of this world really are.
And from our search of the web we found this site www.schapelle.net which appears to be the largest "fan club" and where we cannot find any evidence of conspiracy theories, cults, or anything other than very well presented facts and information that every Australian should know.

Some people won't make the time to watch a one hour long documentary to learn all the facts, and be shocked by those facts, and turn a page in their life instantly because after watching the facts and waking up to the reality of the concerted efforts to keep an innocent woman in jail to hide their corruption, will transform them, they won't ever be able to see Australia, the police, the government, lawyers nor the media the same ever again.

Here is just one such reaction from someone who viewed the Expendable Project documentary:

Now, if you haven't already, do not be afraid: watch the entire one hour plus long documentary, it is gripping, and much better than anything you'd watch on FOX tonight: it'll open your eyes to something that it is likely to end up saving Australia's future, it'll connect you to a great number of caring and intelligent people in Australia and around the world. It's worthwhile: knowing the problem is the first step to being able to do something about it, along with many others.

Mathaba actively welcomes more lies about Schapelle Corby from the Australian Establishment Media. It gives us an opportunity at every turn to respond anew, awakening ever more people to the corruption of the editors controlling Australian media, and for more and more Australians to read independent news.
