Bulgaria police bust 77kg of cannabis in Ruets village

Targovishte. 77 kilos of cannabis were found in a house in a village in the municipality of Targovishte, the Regional Interior Ministry Directorate-Targovishte announced.
During a check and a following raid authorities searched a house in the village of Ruets and found some 4.5 kilos of dried green substance. The house belongs to a 37-year-old man with initials Ts.Ts. The drug test made on the field responded to cannabis. The following raid at the house and the adjacent buildings discovered nearly 73 kilos of fresh green plants, left for drying.
The total amount of the seized cannabis is around 77 kilos.
The 37-year-old owner of the house has a criminal record for drunk driving.
A pre-court proceeding has been launched.
