US: Most Colorado hotels say no to pot
9 News Sunday 05 Jan 2014 Since smoking in public is outlawed, will hotels be where people go to smoke? And could that impact other travelers? Under state law, hotels can make up to a quarter of their rooms smoking rooms. But most hotels are completely smoke free. 9NEWS was able to find just one place that says it's marijuana friendly: The Cliff House Lodge in Morrison. The manager said what they're doing is uncharted territory, but she thinks that it will change, especially in locally-owned hotels. Some marijuana travelers are smoking in their hotels rooms, even when hotels don't allow it.
