New Zealand: Self-proclaimed 'diplomat' guilty on pot charges

A Whangarei man who claims his house is an embassy and its occupants - including himself - have diplomatic immunity, has been found guilty by a judge on drugs charges.

Edward Rollo defended himself at trial in the High Court at Whangarei but has been convicted of two charges of possessing cannabis for sale.

He has also been convicted and sentenced to three weeks in jail for contempt of court.
