Be in with a chance to win an autographed digital Volcano Vapouriser (RRP $670) by entering our raffle! ---- Marc Emery the "Prince of Pot" presents in Dublin, Galway and Cork with Jodie Emery and Dr. João Goulão, drug policy co-ordinator of Portugal, as part of a nationwide Irish tour. Emery was released from prison in August 2014 after serving a 5-year sentence when he was extradited to the United States for selling cannabis seeds through his Canadian company "Marc Emery Direct Seeds". Emery established Cannabis Culture magazine in 1994, Pot TV, the BC Marijuana Party and Marc Emery's Cannabis Culture Headquarters based in Vancouver. Emery described himself as a philanthropist, funding cannabis liberation protests all over Canada and the United States, funded the operation of a drug treatment clinic in Vancouver, and donated the rest of the proceeds from his business to non-profit projects. Dr. João Goulão was part of the committee that advised the Portuguese government to decriminalise the personal possession of all drugs in 1999, which lead to the subsequent reform of drug laws permitting the possession of up to 10-days worth of all drugs. Goulão is the Chairman of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drugs Addiction since 2009. Goulao is invited to advise drug policy in countries all over the world and is a delegate for the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs.
