Australia: Ovarian cancer patient praises cannabis Kate Matthews The Daily Examiner Saturday 20 Sep 2014 The woman, who asked not to be identified, said she started smoking cannabis while undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer diagnosed in August 2013. "I had operation followed by chemo, then a major operation, and more chemo," she said. "I suffered from side effects with the chemo, and with the second round, I decided to smoke some cannabis. "Wow, what a difference: I ate, slept, laughed and felt so much more normal. Chemo was not such a bitch this time. "I still have cancer in my lymph glands throughout my abdomen, and I decided to cease all chemical treatment, and made the oil in July. "I have been using since late July and couldn't praise it enough. "I have a great quality of life. Eat, sleep, no pain, my DVT is reducing a lot quicker, nerve damage repairing and numbness reducing. It is also helping with lots of other issues." An informal poll on our website revealed 94% of people who voted were in favour of the reforms. http://www.dailyexaminer.com.au/news/patient-praises-cannabis/2393283/
