UK: Pembroke Dock pensioner cannabis trial at Swansea Crown Court today (Eric Mann)

The trial of a Pembroke Dock pensioner, charged with growing, supplying and possessing cannabis, is due to start at Swansea Crown Court today (Tuesday).

Eric Stanley Mann, 71, of Harbour Way, has previously denied supplying cannabis between June 1 and October 10, 2013, producing cannabis plants, possessing cannabis with intent to supply and possessing cannabis.

At an earlier hearing before Judge Huw Davies at Swansea crown court Mann, representing himself, said he would argue a public interest defence based on the Human Rights Act.

Mann’s trial is due to start at 10.30am in Court 4.
