UK: Former BBC correspondent Jennie Bond gets high on cannabis and eats 75 grapes for tv show ‘Drugs Live’ freya Drohan Irish Independent Wednesday 04 Mar 2015 Former BBC royal correspondent and I’m A Celebrity contestant Jennie Bond inhaled the drug from a balloon to show the impact it would have. The journalist was seen taking a dose of “skunk” - which Channel 4 claimed is the most prevalent form of cannabis being sold on British streets. The study was a “Home Office-approved, NHS-supported trial” according to Dr Christian Jessen. Moments after sampling the cannabis, 64-year-old Bond was seen giggling with the munchies. "I'm adoring these grapes, but I think that's mostly because I just adore grapes and kind of live on them. But they are tasting very, especially good," she told the camera. When filling out a questionnaire about how she felt, the journalist maintained that the fruit was all she wanted. "Do I want food? Not particularly – unless it's grapes," she laughed. "I can be really boring about grapes because I just believe in them!" Channel 4 veteran Jon Snow also took part in the research. The news anchor said trying the drug was similar to “having his soul wrenched from his body”. It appeared that Snow experienced a bad turn, as he said he had “never been as overwhelmingly frightened” in his life. http://www.independent.ie/entertainment/television/tv-news/former-bbc-correspondent-jennie-bond-gets-high-on-cannabis-and-eats-75-grapes-for-tv-show-drugs-live-31039594.html
