Zambia: Sinkamba’s ‘Cannabis’ Party Launches 2016 Presidential Bid

Opposition Green Party President Peter Sinkamba says his party has started serious preparations for the 2016 General Elections.

Sinkamba says time is running out for all of the political parties and that 2016 is around the corner.

Sinkamba notes that the ruling party will have to showcase its past achievements, in addition to outline its vision for the next 5 years, if it is to retain power.

He says his focus will be on the country’s economy turning it around and get the masses out of the jaws of poverty in the shortest possible time, by bringing in revenue to the tune of US$15 billion into government treasury.

Sinkamba says this time around, it does not take any great political acumen to see which way the wind is blowing.

The Green Party President says the most important issue is the economy, and it is here that people appear to pinning their hopes on the next government.

He says his party will be explaining to the nation how they intend to revamp the country’s economy by ensuring that all people benefit in the country.
