Moving cannabis from Schedule 1 to Schedule 2 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 would legally allow doctors to recommend it for treatment and for patients to apply for an import license. Preventing doctors from being able to recommend a treatment that they feel is best for their patients is wrong, while criminalising people for consuming a medicine that helps treat their symptoms is barbaric.
