ACKSON COUNTY, Ore.- The original Facebook page for local cannabis dispensary Breeze Botanicals was "unpublished" Monday morning.

The business's owner, Brie Malarkey, says when she signed on to the page on Monday, a message popped up saying her page violated Facebook's Terms and Community Standards.

The reason, the Breeze Botanicals Facebook page was "promoting or encouraging drug use."

"Facebook isn't necessarily recognizing state's individual rights, we are operating as a state-licensed facility in the state of Oregon and Facebook is choosing to follow federal policy," Malarkey said.

So now, Breeze Botanicals has created a new page: "Follow the Breeze."

They cannot be "Breeze Botanicals" on Facebook anymore.

Malarkey says the new page will focus on expanding education and awareness.
