In Italy, growing cannabis for personal use is illegal, according to the Constitutional Court. Which has just declared that it is not legitimate the question of constitutionality raised by the Court of Appeal of Brescia on the sanctioning treatment of the cultivation of marijuana plants, although if not intended for sale. “The decision“, as stated in the statement issued by the press organ of the Court, “refers to art. 75 of the Consolidated Law on illicit drugs and is based on previous decisions on the subject.” It thus puts an end to a matter on which the Supreme Court has decided in an opposite way.
