Iceland: Cannabis Plants Confiscated in North Iceland Vala Hafstad Iceland Review Friday 13 May 2016 The street value of the substances could run in the tens of millions of ISK, according to police. Two men, one in his twenties, the other under 20, were arrested and detained overnight. They were released today, following questioning, where they both confessed to having taken part in the cultivation of the plants. They said their intention was to sell the cannabis. Several drug cases have come to the attention of the Northeast Iceland police lately. Last month, they confiscated 500 g of cannabis in two separate cases.
