UK: Audi driver banned for being over the legal limit for cannabis

A MAN has been banned from the roads for being over the drug driving limit for cannabis.

Officers caught Matheus Galante, 23, of Highleigh, Grove Hill, Brighton, driving his Audi in Lodge Lane, Hassocks, in September last year.

He pleaded guilty at Worthing Magistrates’ Court having been found with 2.5 micrograms of cannabis in his blood.

The legal limit is 2 micrograms.

He was banned from driving for a year, fined £350 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35.

He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85.
