US: Cannabis tour bus educates people on the ins and outs of marijuana Christy Wilcox 3LA News Saturday 02 Sep 2017 Friday, the Leafly tour bus rolled into town to educate people at the Reef Dispensary. They plan to hit other cannabis dispensaries over the holiday weekend to educate people on their cannabis curiosities. "This is my first time ever being at a dispensary," said Erik Jordan. Like thousands of others, Jordan is a tourist. He is in from Chicago for the weekend and he is curious too. He came to see his cousin who just moved to Las Vegas and wants to have fun. Leafly.com and its associates said they are the world’s largest cannabis resource center and are offering information about local regulations, different methods of conception if you are new to cannabis. Deuntae Broadnax is a tour manager who says some people shy away from them, but when they are open to learning they learn a lot. "Some people come out of the dispensary and just kind of b-line to their car,” said Broadnax. “Those people that you do get in after you are done talking they are way more comfortable." Reef manager Richard Ball expects Cannabis crowds continue to grow this holiday weekend. As interest in the industry grows, educating people might be key to letting tourists know what's legal and what's not. In Nevada, legal consumption is only allowed in private residences. "We expect to be pretty busy this weekend possibly the same numbers we saw on day one," said Ball. Click here to go to Leafly. http://news3lv.com/news/local/leafly.com
