Recreational pot sales officially started at 12 a.m. on Wednesday through the provincial government’s online portal — www.bccannabisstores.com.

Whether you want dry products or oil products, pre-rolled joints or liquid in bottles, the website has it all. You can buy rolling papers, handheld vaporizers, bongs, pipes and all sorts of other paraphernalia

The B.C. Liquor Distribution Branch, the official government distributor of non-medical cannabis in B.C., has entered a contract with Canada Post to deliver online cannabis orders to customers.

Orders will be shipped from the B.C. LDB distribution centre, a 6,500 square-metre facility in Richmond, to your door within 48 business hours.

Every order from B.C. Cannabis Stores’ online store will come with a $10 shipping fee.

The legal age for cannabis is 19 years old and older. Customers who appear to be under the age of 25 years old can expect to be asked to show ID to postal carriers.

“Canada Post will undertake age-verification checks in the event that a customer appears to be under the age of 25 years. If age verification fails, the product will be returned to the LDB and full purchase price and associated taxes will be refunded,” the B.C. LDB said in a release.
