After Canada gave approval for the use of cannabis for personal consumption, the Spanish left party Podemos is thinking of offering a bill to regulate the cultivation and trafficking of this plant.

So, the government should take responsibility for issuing licenses for the production, gathering and sale of crops.

Provides for private farming, agricultural cooperatives, small and medium-sized agricultural operations, writes El Pais.

The Podemos plan provides for a “strong punitive policy for those who violate the law”, as well as measures to withdraw the products sold to a minor or do not comply with the standards of the legal market.

“The state of the production industry can generate the huge profits that will lead to the improvement of healthcare in the world”, – assure of Podemos.
