Canada: Pair Busted on Burin for Incorrectly Sealed Cannabis

Two young drivers are facing charges after being stopped by Burin Peninsula RCMP over the weekend.

A 21-year-old woman from Garnish and a 20-year-old man from Marystown were charged under the Cannabis Control Act for not having the cannabis properly sealed.

A quantity of cannabis was seized.

Burin RCMP are reminding the public that cannabis carried in a vehicle must be in the package that it was purchased in, with the seal unbroken or not readily available to any person in the vehicle, unless the person is in a bus or taxi.
