UK: Police raid Plymouth cannabis oil shop - live updates

Police officers have executed a planned search warrant at a cannabis oil shop in the centre of Plymouth.

Two misuse of drugs act warrants have been executed by police this morning - the Holy Smoke shop in the city centre and a residential property in Mutley.

Shortly after 7.30am officers from Plymouth police's south and central CID and neighbourhood teams attended a flat in Houndiscombe Road where they carried out a search.

Keys were acquired and officers carried out a further search of the hut-like store which neighbours the Voodoo Lounge club and the Jigsaw Garden.

The pre-planned operation came about following analysis of herbal material recovered from juveniles arrest following a theft from the Holy Smoke store.

It is understood a number of items have been seized from the Houndiscombe Road property and the store.
