Two men in their late 60s have been released on bail following a police raid at a cannabis club in Wellington on Friday.

The pair will reappear in court on September 23, and aren't allowed to talk to each other in the interim.

Police said the 69 and 67-year-old men face 21 charges between them of supplying and possessing class B and C drugs, following the raid at The Daktory on Hania St.

Officers seized cannabis, cash and equipment for growing cannabis.

In the Wellington District Court on Monday, club operator Dakta Green was allowed bail to the Daktory, as it was no longer an operation. He is not allowed to use cannabis.

His co-accused, John Middeldorp, has been bailed to an address in Whangarei.
