UK: Complaint and FOI request to Essex Police Press Officer and other responsible Officers
WTU Sunday 08 Nov 2020 WTU write to you regarding Police Propaganda- Just doing their duty or failed due diligence? 8/11/2020- Presenting Formal Complaint from WTU Community Group against Essex Police Misconduct in Public Office through Misrepresentations to mislead the British Public about cannabis to prop up prohibitionist policies and ideology 1. We The Undersigned Have a Human Sovereign Right to Cannabis (WTU) hereby raise formal complaint against the Press Officer/s responsible for the attached publication, published on Essex Police Facebook page “Ask your body what if feels about cannabis” https://www.facebook.com/EPColchester/posts/3847900791889203 2. Under the FOI Act, WTU formally request copies of all of the research and evidence utilised in the creation of the above publication and their sources within 14 days of receiving this complaint. WTU also formally request the name, rank and number of the Press Officer/s responsible in order to levy these charges directly to them as individuals to be held to account for their Acts of Misinformation. 3. On Saturday 7th November 2020 at 630pm The Press Officer of Essex Police Press Office did commit an act of wanton misinformation and misrepresentaions to the British Public, seemingly to support the fraudulent Government political policy of the so called “War on Cannabis”, imposed through the enforcement and misapplication of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. 4. The Essex Police Propaganda post was removed within 15hours of being published presumably after receiving m,uch public backlash on their facebookl page. 5. The attachments with this email contain the full request and complaint with supporting evidence of the propaganda post being pushed by Essex Police Press Officer We The Undersigned expect your full response to the attached FOI and complaint within the next 14 days.
