Nigerian thirst for top-notch Canadian cannabis grows

This week, the country’s National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) seized a shipment containing 63.75 kilograms of indica cannabis flower. “The price of the imported drugs is far higher, and that is the reason drug traffickers are desperate to smuggle the drugs into the country,” NDLEA Commander, Mitchell Ofoyeju, told local media. This most recent package of illicit bud was discovered in the trunk of a Toyota Venza crossover SUV and inside multiple mattresses. “The reasons for the growing preference for Canadian-grown cannabis include a penchant for exotic products, higher potency and the legalization of recreational use of cannabis in Canada,” Ofoyeju added. The man who received the shipment is currently being questioned by authorities.
