UK: Builders insulate homes with cannabis variety

Builders are trying to insulate new houses with a variety of cannabis.
The Suffolk houses are being fitted with industrial hemp which has good
insulating qualities.
Industrial hemp doesn't give people a "high" if it is smoked.
The two-bedroom houses are being built for the Suffolk Housing Society in
Haverhill.
Architect Ralph Carpenter, who proposed the idea, said: "The material grows
in three months and is environmentally-friendly to produce."
Researchers with the Building Research Establishment plan to check how much
energy the hemp-insulated houses save, the East Anglian Daily Times reports.
