Three police officers are appearing in court over the
alleged supply and possession of drugs.

They are among a total of 11 people who have been charged
following a National Crime Squad investigation in the
Derbyshire area.

All three police officers have been suspended from duty
since their arrest on April 28.

Two of them were on secondment to the National Crime
Squad's Nottingham Branch Office at the time of their
arrest and the other one is from Derbyshire Constabulary.

During the investigation the National Crime Squad worked
with the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire forces.

The 11, seven men and four women, have been charged with
various offences concerning the alleged supply and
possession of Class A and B drugs, including cocaine and
cannabis.

They are appearing before magistrates in Leicester.
